He has produced a globally revered collection of albums which have sold more than forty million records, garnering a Grammy and three nominations. His work crosses all boundaries of music, from rock to country, from children's music to film soundtracks and includes gold and platinum projects for Linda Ronstadt, Charlie Daniels, Boston, Little River Band, Pure Prairie League and Quarterflash. Boylan has also worked extensively in the film industry, working on soundtracks for such films as “Urban Cowboy” and “Born on the Fourth of July,” plus television shows such as “The Simpsons.” In addition, John worked for 12 years as Vice-President of A&R for Epic Records, and has served as Linda Ronstadt’s personal manager for over twenty years.
